PROM pro tips!

Prom can be stressful. Been there, done that, TWICE! Smallest of inconveniences can cause a lot of stress but here are a few tips on how to focus on all the fun you will miss if you stay stressed out.

Tip #1
Prom is supposed to be one of the most memorable nights of your life and I know the pressure to make it perfect is immense but, don’t let that ruin your night.
Go with your friends! Make sure you chose your prom group wisely because not everyone gets a do-over. Go with the people you love because, even if your night doesn’t go as planned, you end your day with the most important people in yoir life.

Tip #2
Planning.
Make sure you start planning way ahead so you don’t get super stressed as the special night approaches. Have a plan B or even a plan C just in case something goes wrong. But again, remember to have fun.
It is okay to go with a flow but just don’t wing it. Make dinner reservations as soon as possible and figure everything out so you can just wait for the night without rushing into anything.

Tip #3 Dresses
Ladies, wear a dress that you love and not others. It is very important you feel your best self in whatever you choose to wear. Start dress shopping early so you don’t have to rush last minute and start getting ready for prom with a lot of time on your hands. Most importantly, be comfortable and be you!

Do what you think is best for your hair. I tied mine but so I wouldn’t have to deal with the wind and the rain the whole time. Tying your hair up makes it more formal and you don’t have to worry about it getting ruined when you go crazy on the dance floor.

Instead of corsages, get a bouquet. It adds definition to your dress and now you don’t have to worry about ” I don’t know what to do with my hands”. Also, don’t worry about spending too much money on actual flowers, buy fake ones (there are so many more options with fake flowers), they all look the same in pictures!

Tip #4
This is for all my boys. YOU DON’T NEED A DATE TO GO TO PROM. Trust me when I say this, GO TO YOUR PROM. Take your boys with you and go. You wont get this chance again so even if you don’t have a date, who cares. Go have a guys night out in suits and tux and have fun!

Tip#5
Be safe. It is totally upto you on how you chose you spend your prom nighy but most importantly, be safe. Keep an eye on your things and make sure.you are.aware of wjere you sre at all times!
