Dressing up is hard and trust me, I have been there too. There have been times when I spent around fifteen minutes blankly staring at my clothes hoping an outfit idea would just pop into my head. I hope this blog helps you guys save those long stares and get some extra sleep in the morning with some very simple semi-formal outfits.
As some of you may know, I am a college student and some of my days require that I don’t look like a complete mess. Today, I will show you how you can plan your outfit using only one pair of pants with FIVE different types of tops or shirts. These outfit idea works with any tight fitting pant as long as you follow certain “rules”
Fold the bottom of your pants.
This really helps your outfit and makes it look different from the usual. It also makes you look a little taller and completely transforms your outfit.
Pair them with heels
Heels can help you bump up your look from something very simple to something very presentable. Especially when you are going for a semi-formal(ish)look, heels do wonders.
Tuck in your shirts/tops.
I cannot emphasize enough on the fact that tucking in your shirt transforms your outfit from a 0 to a solid 10. It looks more chic, stylish and in some cases, formal. Depending on the choice of your top, it can make you look younger too.
4. Buttoning the top button
If you chose to wear a shirt, buttoning the top button can transform your look from casual to formal.
5. Just throw on a cardigan
Cardigans work great especially if you are not comfortable in an outfit. It also makes it look formal and to be very honest, cardigans are CUTE! I always put on a cardigan if the temperature drops or I did not find time to shave my arms. They really are the best.
